Compact Dinghy Anchor Kit

We spent endless hours at our local test beach (tough day at the office right?) developing our prototypes and refining them so we could bring to you the best performing compact anchor possible. The GoDu Compact Dinghy Anchor is fully welded from laser cut 304 stainless steel so you know it will last a lifetime: the big goal of any GoDu product. It's fast setting, even in hard sand, which is a tough job for an anchor that only weighs 4 lbs! Its large shovel style fluke size means once it's set, you can feel secure that it will hold you tight.

The kit also includes 100 feet of braided nylon line. We chose the more expensive braided line instead of the traditional 3 strand twisted because it wont kockle and knot up when being flaked into or out of the anchor bag, making your experience with it easier.

The anchor bag is perhaps the most innovative part of this kit, and certainly the most convenient anchor bag we have ever heard of. The bag has a full size phifertex mesh bottom, so your anchor kit is super easy to rinse: just dunk it in the water a couple times and leave all the sand and mud behind! It also makes rinsing the kit for long term locker storage effort free: open the "big mouth" top and simply spray it off with your hose. The mesh bottom also helps prevent mold and mildew by allowing the wet nylon line to breathe while it dries. Another great feature to the bag is that on both the inside and the outside is a super strong nylon webbing loop, which lets you attach the dead end of the anchor rode on the inside of the bag and allows for a short piece of line to be attached to the outside for securing the bag to the boat: never fish for the dead end of the anchor rode again!
